My Body Hurts

Woke up with a sore hip, but decided to walk anyway. Took a different route this morning. I walked North to a large church building, around the building and then back home again. It took me 30 minutes. There were some very lovely yards along the way and the church grounds were nice and clean. By the time I got home my right leg, knee and hip were pretty sore, but I'm not giving up. Hopefully as I continue to walk I will get stronger.

Cloudy and Cool

My walk ths morning was quite pleasant. The sky was partly cloudy and the air was cool after last night's rain. I extended my walk to 30 minutes. Just a little longer each day. I feel tired but good.

Out Again Today

Day two of returning to walking. I did 23 minutes this morning. Same route as yesterday, with a trip in front of the school after resting for 5 minutes on the bench. Today my hips and lower back were really sore and painful. Each step was hard but I pushed through and completed my walk. Hopefully I will become strengthened so that my walks are more enjoyable and less painful.

Walking Again

I am walking again. It's been over a year since I posted last. Today my walk was really short - about 2 blocks. I walked to the school and sat on a bench in the shade and enjoyed the quiet. The front of the school grounds is landscaped very pretty and it is peaceful there - school hasn't started yet. After resting a while I walked home. It's a good start. My goal is to go a little farther each day. I'll keep you posted.
